作为外贸员,开发客户和接订单一直是工作的核心。这其中离不开沟通,而邮件又是我们与客户间常用的沟通方式。其重要性自不必多说,但小助理发现很多外贸小伙伴并没使用的很好。那么正确的邮件“打开”方式是怎样的呢?



先来看一下,下面的这封邮件:

Hello Mr. Jame White,
 
How are you?
 
We know your company from the internet and we know that your market is in the LED lighting field in Poland.
 
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our company and products. This is Alice from ABC Company. We are one of the largest manufacturers in this field in China, and I hope to cooperate with your company.

这是较为老的一封开发信的邮件模板,在7-8年前这样的邮件还是不错的,但放在2024年就有些不够看了。我们不妨先来找一下“茬”:
 
首先,邮件整体结构有些混乱,信息传递不够清晰。公司介绍和产品信息过于笼统,缺乏具体的产品特点、优势,或客户成功案例,难以引起客户的兴趣。此外,直接要求收件人介绍公司和目标市场,显得过于冒昧,不够礼貌。更为恰当的做法是以更委婉的方式引导客户提供信息。
 
同时,邮件还缺少明确的下一步行动建议,签名也不完整。这些问题都会影响邮件的效果。下面是经过修改后的版本:

I hope this email finds you well.

修改后的邮件内容更加完整,语言表达更为流畅,并在无形中引导客户进一步联系。但需要注意的是,这并不是一个万能模板,每家公司都有独特的产品和客户群体,开发信也应根据这些特点进行个性化定制。只有这样,才能让开发信真正为你带来丰厚的回报。
 
市面上并没有100%能保证回复的邮件,甚至没有人能保证30%的回复率。因此,没有所谓的标准化邮件,一封邮件是否有效关键在于能否切中客户的痛点,满足他们的需求或化解他们的顾虑。只有这样才能引起客户的兴趣并建立稳定的联系,这时再获取订单还不是指日可待。
